Robin and Jody Started Vincent and Parry Timber Framing in 2024 after spending 3 years working together on various framed projects. They realised their shared principals towards building with quality and craftsmanship and their complimentary skill set made the perfect partnership.
"Our Ethos as a company is centred around our desire to create the highest quality work possible. From sourcing the materials to the finishing touches we're constantly striving to work with the materials to design and create strong, efficient and beautiful buildings."
We are a small team and between us we manage every aspect of the business from designing and building to planning and admin. Being a small team allows us the control and oversight neccesasary to maintain our quality standards. Whilst It can be busy it means we know what is happening at every stage of a project and you have the comfort of knowing who you will be dealing with from the very first meeting to the final day on site.

Robin Vincent
DIRECTOR AND TIMBER FRAMER
Robin started running his own timber framing company in 2019 after spending many years training and working for a large timber frame firm and then a heritage and restoration company. He wanted to take the skills he had developed building contemporary timber frames and restoring old structures and bring them together to handcraft modern, traditionally built homes. Robin has always had a love of carpentry and woodlands which shows through in his knowledge of the timber he builds with and his close attention to detail.
Robin grew up in Radnorshire and knows the local area well, having moved back here with his family in 2014 to return to his countryside roots. He loves climbing and is an avid beekeeper. On days off he is often found in his apiary at the top of his garden on the side of Hergest Ridge.

Jody Parry
DIRECTOR AND TIMBER FRAMER
Jody has decades of experience working in the construction and craft industries having started his building career when living in London. In 2017 Jody moved to Radnorshire with his family where he continued working with wood, turning bowls and making furniture and joinery. In 2022 he joined Robin on a timber framing project and quickly fell in love with the craft. They continued to work together and before long went on to start Vincent and Parry Timber Framing ltd. Jody's diverse skill sets and keen attention to detail will ensure all aspects of your building are built to the highest of standards.
Outside of work, Jody loves mountain biking and football. He's also big on growing veg, particularly tomatoes, which he grows in his polytunnel.

Henry McCarthy-Allen
TIMBER FRAMER APPRENTICE
Henry has been working for Vincent and Parry Timber Framing for over a year. Having initially come on as a labourer for a short term job he quickly decided to stay with us and became an integral part of the team. His cheery disposition and strong work ethic as well as a background in concreting have allowed him to pick up the work quickly and we are now proud to be supporting him to undertake his Level 2 Post and Beam Carpentry through the Oak Frame Training Forum.
When he's not working you can usually find Henry in the Climbing Centre or out walking in the Welsh hills. He loves an opportunity to go for an adventure in his van and will often head to the coast for a weekend of surfing.

Lewis Morgan
TIMBER FRAMER
Lewis is our newest team member. He has been working as a carpenter since 2017 and holds a City & Guilds Carpentry NVQ Level 3. Lewis has experience in conservation and restoration, including timber framing, crafting oak trusses, fitting oak roofs, and repairing and splicing existing oak frame structures.
Having grown up in Kington, where our workshop is based, Lewis loves to be working in his home town, as he knows the area and its buildings very well. Outside of work he enjoys reading, walking his dogs, football (he has played for Kington and New Radnor) and is also renovating his own home.

Kate Vincent
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Kate works as a marketing and communications consultant, helping the team to showcase their projects and tell their story. With a degree in Graphic Design from the University of the West of England, she manages the company’s marketing and social media, alongside a variety of administrative tasks. She loves working in the creative industry and has a passion for photography and typography, helping to bring the character and craftsmanship of the business to life through thoughtful designs.
Kate is well placed to tell the VPTF story as she is married to Robin and gets to hear about all the projects they've been working on when he gets home. In her own time, Kate loves running (she can usually be spotted up on Hergest Ridge) and is a very keen knitter!
